| Another small plein air painting I did the other day, There is a VW repair shop around the corner from my studio so the Bugs parked on the street are great subjects to paint --until the mechanics need to take them into the garage for repair and my subject disappears! |

| This is a plein air painting I did a few weeks ago at the Watt Avenue River Access. It was a beautiful glorious day and I am totally in my element when I get to paint outside in the beautiful nature. (I think that passion comes from growing up in the beautiful northwest corner of Montana!) |

| This is a quick still life study I was able to do last Tuesday during Elio's class. He comes up from the Bay Area every Tuesday to teach this class and it is such a great opportunity to study with such an accomplished artist. I am learning so much from him. We will be scheduling a plein air workshop with him most likely this spring--that will be a great learning opportunity! |
