| I was over at UC Davis hospital yesterday and as soon as I stepped inside this building these two paintings caught my eye. Lo and behold, and much to my surprise and delight, these were my paintings from nearly a decade ago when I was commissioned to do these Colusa landmarks for a UC Davis clinic up in Colusa. Maybe the Colusa clinic closed and these paintings were brought back to Sacramento for the new building which I had entered. |

| So here we are back nearly 10 years ago. I distinctly remember driving up to Colusa to photograph these buildings and the challenge it was because the Courthouse view was covered in tree canopy. |
