| A plein air painting from this spring at McKinley Park. I think I may try to make a bigger painting from this study and my photo reference. Maybe. Maybe not. It's hard to reinvent the inspiration felt while painting on location and the excitement of being in the moment during a plein air outing. |

What a lovely little piece, so calming! I particularly like the color palette - the interplay of the warm rose colors against the blue shadows! : )
